The goal was to build a Mechanical Treatment System for 120 000 tons/year. The input material is communal house waste with high organic fraction. The project focused on the halogen fraction removal with NIR optical sorters, and on the recycling of the aluminium fraction with eddy current separators.

The facility had an already existing biological treatment plant, we design an over-head conveyor system to transport the fine fraction from one hall to the other.

It was March 2013 with 15 cm of snow
